Birthday Feasting

Yesterday was my birthday, and I actually made and ate one of my favorite recipes on my blog  Sweet ‘n’ Sticky Baby Back Ribs.

I started thinking of what other things I would eat for a birthday feast, and came up with a menu for my birthday. Mind you, I didn’t actually make all of these things, just the ribs. But I am going to be ready for next year!

Fresh Spring Salads

Fresh Spring Salads

Spring time is here! Some of my favorite fresh vegetables and herbs are showing up in the farmer’s markets and grocery stores everywhere. Artichokes, asparagus, tomatoes and spring peas, all fresh from the farm.

These five salads showcase some of these vegetables, and are perfect both for serving along with grilled foods or as a meal in themselves.

Which is why the internet is so wonderful. I can go to Pinterest and find so many delightful creations ranging from edible, drinkable and just darn cute items for Halloween. Don’t get me wrong, I have tried to make cute stuff for various holidays. Check out These Candy Corn Popcorn Balls
