Bite. Morsel. Just enough to satisfy the appetite.
These little cookies are the perfect two or three bite treat to go along with a cup of coffee or tea. And nestled right in the middle is a chocolate covered macadamia nut. A rich, buttery cookie surrounding a little bit of chocolate covered paradise. How can you not love that?
Cookie #2 using my Master Cookie Dough is so simple to make, they are the perfect go-to cookie when guests are popping by, or to take to the office potluck. If chocolate covered macadamia nuts are hard to come by, use any chocolate covered nut, such as almonds or pecans. If you wish, you can even forgo the chocolate altogether, and just use your favorite kind of nut.
You will get around 28 cookies from 2 cups of Master Cookie Dough, depending on the size of your balls. (Go ahead. I dare you to make a comment about this sentence.)
What you’ll need:
Baking sheet
2 cups Master Cookie Dough
28 Chocolate covered macadamia nuts, or other chocolate covered nut
Heat your oven to 350 degrees. Remove the cookie dough from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
Pinch off about a teaspoon of dough. Roll it into a 1″ ball using CLEAN HANDS. Place the balls onto the baking sheet.
Bake the cookies for 13-14 minutes, until soft but lightly golden brown. Remove the baking sheet from the over, and immediately press a chocolate covered macadamia nut into the top of each cookie.
Cool the cookies completely on a cooling rack. As the cookies cool they will firm up.
Try not to eat them all at once.
Cookie #3 – Crispy Sugar Cookies
Not that I know of Elaine! Feel free to give it a go, and please let me know how it turns out.
Has anyone tampered with your master cookie dough to make it gluten free yet?
doesn’t the chocolate on the nuts melt??? duh, I re-red the recipe and noticed you only place the nut AFTER taking them out of the oven. Nice idea…
