  1. In a large, heavy pot melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the Old Bay, sriracha, paprika, Creole or Cajun seasoning and aleppo pepper. Stir well to combine.
  3. Add the beer, stir to combine. Raise the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Once the mixture is boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add the whole shrimp, stir to coat them in the sauce, cover and cook for 3 minutes or until the shrimp are pink. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp.
  6. Transfer the shrimp and sauce immediately to a large bowl. Serve with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
Recipe Notes

Aleppo Pepper can be purchased from Middle Eastern groceries or online.

If using frozen shrimp thaw completely before cooking.
